lyrics
I have a friend, but now we don’t talk that much but
There was a time we cared for each other
Used to laugh at your jokes, yeah your where imitating folks
You put a smile on my face like no other
Even though your where fragile you acted so tough and
Talking ‘bout politics and stuff
I remember you as a sensitive guy but you
always tried to play so rough
Where did we go darling
Where did we go
Where did we go, where did we go, where did we go X2
Was falling in love but you told me right from the start, oh darling
We would just hurt each other
Knew you were right but that didn’t stop me from thinking that we can
Have some fun with one another
Now it’s been years since our nights at your place
And every now and then I think about calling
We’re different from then and that time past us by
But it was a time worth living
Where did we go darling
Where did we go
Where did we go, where did we go, where did we go x2

This just has some great vibes all around - from the energy of 56th Floor and Symphony of the ironic sympathy to the gentle, laid back Soul Keeper - it’s worth the time to listen to it all. potaytoes
Italian stoner powerhouse Tenebra has the heft of Sabbath and the hooks of Saint Vitus in their powerfully imposing tunes. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2022
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021

Lesley's voice and vocals are just great. I love Mark and Ian's guitar playing and Andrew's bass, Peter's organ and Pete's drums too. You are a great band and have produced a fantastic album. It's my album of the year 2023. It's a pity that I only became aware of the band recently. dmeikel
