lyrics
I always fix up my hair for you
Don’t know why cus’ you’ve seen all my colors
You’ve seen me through
Why do we keep on taking this further
When all of my thoughts should be thoughts
Of her
Why do we keep on whispering things
When both of us know what whispering means
And if I get the spot, I sit next to you
But when you’re coming close
I Don’t know what to do
In my thoughts you’re crawling under my skin
When all of my thoughts should be thoughts
Of him
Why do we keep on whispering things
When both of us know what whispering means
SOLO
I’m wandering all night and my bad conscious catch me
While I’m longing and hoping that maybe someday
Other times will me
I said I want things to be like they used to
You said if we could be real
I would marry you
Why do we keep on whispering things
When both of us know what whispering means X2

This just has some great vibes all around - from the energy of 56th Floor and Symphony of the ironic sympathy to the gentle, laid back Soul Keeper - it’s worth the time to listen to it all. potaytoes
Italian stoner powerhouse Tenebra has the heft of Sabbath and the hooks of Saint Vitus in their powerfully imposing tunes. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2022
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021

Lesley's voice and vocals are just great. I love Mark and Ian's guitar playing and Andrew's bass, Peter's organ and Pete's drums too. You are a great band and have produced a fantastic album. It's my album of the year 2023. It's a pity that I only became aware of the band recently. dmeikel
